We hope you absolutely love your purchase from DCL! Sometimes you may need a different size or the item doesn’t work for you after all. It’s totally fine! We do accept returns if they meet the following criteria:

New, unworn condition with tags still attached. No odors, no makeup stains, deodorant stains.

Returns for store credit are only available for regular priced items and only allowed within the first 10 days after you received the item or purchased instore. The date of arrival to your address is tracked by the shipping company that we use.

The cost of shipping the return is the customers responsibility and must be postmarked within the 10 days of receiving the item. Return shipping paid for by the customer is not included in the store credit amount. If you are local, you can always drop off your return to the store if you choose. 

When returning, it is best practice to use a carrier that has a tracking system. If an item is not returned and customer cannot provide proof of tracking that shows it was delivered then a credit cannot be given. 

If returning in a different mailer bag than received, please be sure it is waterproof and item is folded neatly. 

 

Exchanges:

 

Exchanges cannot be guaranteed due to limited inventory. If an item is available for an exchange, the customer will be invoiced to pay the 2nd shipping fee for exchanged item to be mailed. Again, when returning for an exchange, it is best practice to use a carrier that has a tracking system.

 

All items must be unworn, not wrinkled, no perfume or aromas, no makeup or deodorant markings, with tags and protective liners (swimsuits) still attached. If items do not meet these standards a store credit or exchange (if available) with not be issued.  

 

Final Sale:

All accessories, shoes, discount code sales, and sale items are a FINAL SALE. No store credits will be given on any of the items mentioned. Pre-sale items are also non-refundable as they are paid upfront based on your order. Please know that sometimes preorders expected shipment dates may be extended due to production or things beyond Dress Code Lafayette's control.

 

Damages/Wrong Item:

If there is a defect or damage, an email with a picture of the issue must be sent within 72 hours. If you receive the wrong order contact dresscode.amy@gmail.com immediately.

 

***All returns for store credit should be mailed to Dress Code Lafayette 213 Cypress View Dr. Youngsville, LA 70592. Do not ship returns to our store address as we do not have a mailbox.
